Clinician- Addiction Recovery Services (Adult)

Location: Dayville, CT

Description:

The Clinician for Addiction Recovery Services plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centered care to adults experiencing co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions. This position focuses on supporting individuals engaged in recovery, including those participating in Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), through evidence-based clinical interventions and a collaborative care approach.

In this role, the Clinician provides both individual and group counseling services in an outpatient setting, utilizing therapeutic modalities and meeting client's where they are and supporting sustained progress toward recovery goals.

The Clinician is responsible for conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, developing individualized treatment plans with clear and measurable objectives, and monitoring client progress over time. Strong engagement skills and the ability to build therapeutic relationships are essential to supporting client success.

This role works closely within an integrative care team that includes Peer Recovery Specialists, Psychiatric APRNs, Case Managers, Employment Specialists, and other Clinicians. The Clinician also collaborates with external providers to ensure continuity of care and comprehensive support for each client.

The ideal candidate brings a strong clinical foundation in behavioral health, experience working with substance use disorders, and a commitment to recovery-oriented, client-centered care.

What You Will Do (Day-to-Day):

  • Provide individual and group clinical services to adults with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.
  • Deliver care within a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, supporting recovery and relapse prevention.
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop treatment plans with measurable, goal-oriented objectives.
  • Engage clients using a person-centered, recovery-focused approach that supports long-term success.
  • Collaborate with an integrated care team including internal and external providers to coordinate treatment.
  • Support clients in exploring multiple pathways to recovery and sustaining engagement in services.

Minimum Requirements:

LCSW, LMFT, LPC preferred, LMSW, LMFT-A, LPC-A required

Clinical experience with clients with substance use and co-occurring diagnosis preferred.

Schedule:

No weekend or on call expectations. Clinician full-time positions are 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. *Clinicians are required to work until 8 P.M. one night per week.

Salary:

  • Non-LCSW, $55,370 – $62,646
  • Non-LCSW, Bilingual Clinicians- Spanish/English Fluency $58,173 – $65,817
  • LCSW, LPC, LMFT LADC Clinicians $65,166 – $73,730
  • LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LADC Bilingual Spanish/English Fluency $68,465 – $77,462

Work Location: Because our clients rely on face-to-face support to build trust, this position is fully in-person and office based.
