By proactively managing workflows, monitoring compliance requirements, and supporting cross-functional coordination, you help ensure HR operations scale effectively while minimizing risk and improving service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a seamless, compliant, and efficient employee experience from hire through separation.
- Coordinate and conduct HR onboarding, including orientation, documentation completion, and pre-employment requirements (background checks, drug screens, equipment set up).
- Execute day-to-day HR operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Process Verification of Employment (VOE) requests accurately and within established timelines.
- Support system accuracy, workflow efficiency, and continuous improvement through effective use of HR technology.
- Administer HRIS functions (e.g., Paylocity), including password resets, employee updates, and reporting structure changes.
- AA degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Spanish speaking (required)
- 3-5 years of HR experience in a generalist or administrative capacity.
- Strong understanding of onboarding, offboarding, and HR compliance processes.
- Familiarity with California employment laws, including EDD requirements and I-9/E-Verify compliance.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity) and ticketing/workflow platforms.
