E-Commerce Operations Manager

We are looking to open a position for a candidate at the Riverside (Alessandro) location to support our e-commerce operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily e-commerce order fulfillment, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with retail routing guides and customer-specific shipping requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee pick and pack operations for small parcel and retail orders.
- Support and monitor sortation center activities, including order consolidation and shipment preparation.
- Manage Value Added Services (VAS) such as labeling, ticketing, kitting, repacking, and other customer-specific requirements.
- Work closely with warehouse, inventory control, and transportation teams to resolve shipping or order discrepancies.
- Monitor order flow to prevent delays, missed shipments, or compliance violations.
- Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and packaging according to retailer standards.
- Analyze order and shipment data to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Assist with training team members on e-commerce fulfillment processes and compliance standards.
- Maintain communication with internal teams regarding order status, shipment issues, and operational updates.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- Experience in e-commerce fulfillment, warehouse operations, or distribution center operations.
- Strong knowledge of retail compliance routing guides (major retailers preferred).
- Experience with pick & pack operations, sortation systems, and value-added services (VAS).
- Familiarity with WMS systems, shipping platforms, and inventory systems.
- High SKU management experience
- High-volume processing expertise
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with automation
- Strong knowledge of inventory control processes
- Lean Six Sigma credentials or background
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with small parcel shipping (UPS, FedEx, etc.).
- Knowledge of EDI, UCC labels, and retail compliance requirements.
- Understanding of distribution center workflow and inventory management.
