Job description:
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support daily human resources operations in a fast-paced environment. This role will focus on employee relations, onboarding, and HR administrative support while partnering closely with operations and leadership to ensure a positive and compliant workplace.

Location: Anaheim, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 am -5:00 pm
Payrate: $30.00/hr.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to policies, attendance, and workplace concerns
- Support basic employee relations matters, including documenting conversations and escalating when appropriate
- Assist in maintaining a positive work environment by promoting company policies and procedures
- Coordinate recruiting efforts, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
- Support onboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, orientations, and system entry
- Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and personnel files
- Assist with compliance requirements, including I-9s, E-Verify, and required notices
- Support audits and ensure documentation is up to date
- Assist with timekeeping review and basic payroll support (e.g., timecard collection, discrepancy follow-up)
- Respond to general employee questions regarding benefits and direct them to appropriate resources
- Partner with supervisors and managers to support HR-related needs on the floor
- Assist with tracking attendance, disciplinary actions, and employee status changes
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of HR experience in a Generalist or HR Coordinator role
- Basic knowledge of California labor laws (meal/rest breaks, sick leave, etc.)
- Experience with HRIS or payroll systems (ADP, Paychex, etc.) preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments are a plus
- Familiarity with high-volume hourly workforces
