What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Labor position at People First Employment?
Job Description:
General Laborers are responsible for supporting various task in warehouse/production setting. They must be able to fill and support other departments in the facility, and they must be familiar with different job roles. They must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. due to supporting other positions when necessary. They must also have attention to detail to assure departments meet deadlines.
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Morning Shift: 6am-2:45pm
Pay Rate: $16.90
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assembling, labeling, and tracking packed productions
- Able to left 40-50lbs
- Attention to detail to assure that packaging is not being sent with tears, cracks, or dents
- As a general labor associate you will be attention to detail to assure that items in boxes are packaged correctly by the items' specific fragility
- Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling, and sorting
- Document quality inspection based on standard operating procedures
