The NMCI/Flank Speed Support Technician delivers customer-focused technical support services for NMCI, Flank Speed (M365), and associated end-user devices. Responsibilities include provisioning NMCI seats, processing MAC requests, configuring hardware/software, providing workstation troubleshooting, supporting laptop imaging, enabling remote access, and maintaining asset inventories.
Technicians ensure adherence to Navy cybersecurity requirements, assist users with account access issues, perform ticket management, and escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support. The role requires hands-on assistance for government personnel, including local equipment troubleshooting beyond standard Help Desk capabilities.
Requirements:- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting NMCI or similar large enterprise network environments.
- Working knowledge of SECNAV M-5510 and SECNAVINST 5239.1 cybersecurity policies.
- Experience processing MAC (Moves/Adds/Changes) requests.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, M365, laptops, peripherals, and remote access tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues in person.
- Strong customer service skills and experience supporting senior personnel.
- Ability to maintain accurate inventories and documentation.
