About the Role

We are seeking a detail oriented, highly organized Sales Operations Manager with CPG experience to join and support our sales team and work cross functionally with operations, marketing and logistics. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a “do-whatever-it-takes” startup mindset who thrives in fast-moving environments. You’ll play a critical role in keeping our sales engine running smoothly. We believe this position is crucial to building our business and reports directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up items and manage vendor onboarding and information maintenance in broker, retailer & distributor systems
• Manage GDSN, portals, New Item Forms, promos, deductions support and price changes.
• Track POs, pricing, contracts, and basic sales reports
• Manage distributor inventory levels
• Record and manage Promotions and Deductions using 3rd party software.
• File deduction retailer and distributor deduction disputes and manage resolution process.
• Maintain and organize sales documentation, trackers, and internal records
• Serve as a primary point of contact for distributor, retailer, and broker information requests
• Manage promotional and seasonal calendars.
• Manage and update internet, ecommerce, and website product listings
• Provide product details, technical specifications, and regulatory information to customers and partners
• Support internal process organization (image libraries, forms, trackers, folders, systems)
• Handle special projects in support of the CEO, sales, and marketing teams

• Quick learner who can navigate and master GDSN, distributor and retailer portals.
• Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
• Resourceful and proactive — comfortable wearing many hats as the business evolves.
• Willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to move things forward.
• Enjoys working in fast paced, startup environment with lots of quick pivots and fast learning required as the business grows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Positive, upbeat, enthusiastic team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a CPG sales support, operations or related CPG role
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with promotion and deduction management and item setup.
• Comfortable and experienced working with retailer portals, spreadsheets, and data entry
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
• Must live within a 45-minute drive of East Hanover, NJ with strong preference given to someone excited to work in person full-time.
• Nimble, adaptable, and comfortable with change in a high-growth environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
