About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Email Marketing Manager to lead and support campaign and newsletter programs for prospects and customers. This role requires strong project management, clear communication, disciplined email calendar coordination, and hands-on experience building, testing, and deploying emails. You’ll also contribute to broader lifecycle initiatives as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, QA, and deploy email campaigns and newsletters targeting prospects and customers.
- Manage segmentation and list pulls to ensure accurate targeting.
- Partner with design, campaigns, and analytics teams for timely, high-quality sends.
- Manage the email calendar, coordinate timelines, and ensure smooth cross-functional handoffs.
- Adjust HTML/CSS to refine emails or troubleshoot technical issues.
- Track and report performance metrics (open, click, conversion).
- Conduct basic A/B testing and recommend improvements to enhance engagement and performance.
- Ensure compliance with email best practices and regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
- Support lifecycle, onboarding, or nurture programs when capacity allows.
- 3 years of hands-on email marketing experience, ideally in a B2B or SaaS setting.
- Proficiency with modern marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Customer.io, Braze, Inflection, etc.). Marketo experience is required.
- Demonstrated ability to build, QA, and deploy emails end-to-end.
- HTML/CSS skills sufficient to edit and troubleshoot email code.
- Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple campaigns, calendars, and deadlines.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and independently as a contractor.
- Solid analytical skills and familiarity with email performance reporting.
- Experience designing or collaborating on email templates in Figma.
- Knowledge of deliverability, accessibility, and email design best practices.
- Exposure to lifecycle, onboarding, or nurture program development.
- Work hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PT
- Interview process: Multiple rounds (1:1 with 3 interviewers)
- Team size: 5 in Marketing Operations; supporting dozens of marketers across Marketing and Product Marketing
Salary : $45 - $50
