Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Vice President (VP) of Marketing to lead the marketing strategy for both North American and South American markets, while also collaborating with the team in Germany for a cohesive global marketing approach. The position is based in Cary, NC, with the opportunity to travel domestically and internationally. This role is integral to driving revenue growth through product launches, brand positioning, and market expansion.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for product portfolios and market expansion in the Americas, working closely with the German marketing team for global alignment.
- Oversee the entire life cycle of products, from launch strategies to market penetration, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as FDA and ISO.
- Build, mentor, and lead marketing teams, including product managers and directors, while managing marketing budgets and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct competitive analysis and gather market insights to identify new opportunities, focusing on the medical device industry.
- Collaborate with Sales, R&D, and Clinical Affairs to align marketing goals with company objectives and enhance the company's global reach.
- Develop training materials and create a portal for sales reps, focusing on pediatric gastroenterology and other target areas.
- Handle a supervisory role with the goal of expanding the team by hiring 1-2 additional members in the next year.
- Engage in high-level meetings with doctors and key knowledge leaders, leveraging an understanding of anatomy and GI knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a scientific field; MBA is highly preferred.
- 8-12 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years specifically in the medical device industry.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and medical device marketing trends.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills for market analysis, with experience in budgeting and managing marketing budgets.
- Familiarity with journals and magazines in gastroenterology and related fields is advantageous.
Monday through Friday, with travel up to 50% of the time, including international travel to Germany and occasional travel to South America.

The salary for this position is $175,000 per year. The role is primarily based in-office. As a supervisor position, this role offers the chance to shape and expand the marketing team.
