Temporary Vacuum Assembly Technician
Pay: $22/hour
Schedule: 8-hour shifts with lunch break
Start Time: Flexible start between 5:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Duration: Temporary project-based role (order of 70 commercial vacuums)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Temporary Vacuum Assembly Technician to assist with assembling commercial-grade vacuums for a large production order. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a mechanical mindset who enjoys shop environments, working with tools, and building quality equipment. You'll rotate through different assembly stations and work as part of an easy-going, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble commercial-grade vacuum units according to specifications
Use battery-powered hand tools to screw metal plates and components together
Work at various assembly stations throughout the shop
Inspect assembled parts for accuracy, fit, and quality
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Ask questions as needed to ensure accurate and efficient assembly
Required Qualifications
Ability to work an 8-hour shift with a flexible early start time
Comfortable using battery-powered hand tools (drills, drivers, etc.)
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds safely
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Willingness to ask questions and communicate clearly
Good attitude, dependable, and team-oriented
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
Grew up around dirt bikes, mechanical projects, or hands-on equipment
Familiarity with drivers, drill bits, fasteners, and basic shop tools
Knows the difference between a panhead vs. flathead screw
Enjoys working in a shop or assembly environment
