In this role, you'll partner with leadership to shape workforce strategy, oversee HR operations, and provide guidance across the organization. Your expertise will help us strengthen engagement, performance, and compliance in a mission-driven setting.



Location: Burlington, MA (Onsite, Monday-Friday)

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 (annualized)

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Clearance: Secret clearance required or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment strategies, including reviewing offer documentation
  • Oversee onboarding and HR records
  • Serve as primary contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolution
  • Manage employee training, development, and succession planning
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws, government reporting, and company policies
  • Oversee performance evaluations, HR analytics, and workforce reporting
  • Prepare reports for management and government requirements
  • Provide coaching and guidance to employees and leadership to support engagement and performance

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10 years HR experience, including 4 years in management
  • SHRM-CP certification (required)
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance reporting (EEO-1, ACA, Affirmative Action Plans)
  • Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Secret clearance or ability to obtain
