Air Quality Specialist

Location: Sacramento, CA
Pay Range: $55,000 - $60,000 per year (depending on experience)

• Set up and run air quality models (e.g., CalEEMod, AERMOD) for project assessments.
• Research and gather data for model inputs and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare air quality and greenhouse gas sections for environmental documents and stand-alone reports.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and project managers as needed.
• Draft and finalize reports and documentation related to air quality and emissions.
  
  

• Proficiency with air quality modeling tools (CalEEMod, AERMOD, HARP2, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in air quality modeling and health risk assessments.
