Air Quality Specialist

Air Quality SpecialistLocation: Sacramento, CAPay Range: $55,000 - $60,000 per year (depending on experience)Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and run air quality models (e.g., CalEEMod, AERMOD) for project assessments.Research and gather data for model inputs and ensure accuracy.Prepare air quality and greenhouse gas sections for environmental documents and stand-alone reports.Coordinate with regulatory agencies and project managers as needed.Draft and finalize reports and documentation related to air quality and emissions.Required Skills & QualificationsProficiency with air quality modeling tools (CalEEMod, AERMOD, HARP2, etc.).Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.Minimum of 1 year of experience in air quality modeling and health risk assessments.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
