This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a generalist environment, enjoys variety in their day, and brings experience across multiple HR functions, not just one specialty area.The ideal candidate is grounded in employee relations, confident in investigations, comfortable navigating imperfect systems, and passionate about fostering a supportive, compliant, and people-first culture.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & InvestigationsLead and manage employee relations matters including coaching, conflict resolution, and performance issuesConduct workplace investigations related to complaints, policy concerns, and compliance mattersMaintain objective documentation, confidentiality, and professionalism throughout all investigationsProvide guidance to leaders on policy interpretation and appropriate corrective actionPolicy & ComplianceDraft, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with evolving labor lawsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulationsSupport audits and risk mitigation efforts as neededHR Operations & HRIS ManagementMaintain HR systems including employee records, status changes, and reportingWork within Dayforce (and other platforms) with accuracy, problem-solving, and flexibilitySupport automation tools such as Microsoft Forms or similar systems to streamline HR processesTalent Acquisition & OnboardingManage full-cycle recruiting for assigned rolesCoordinate onboarding and orientation efforts to ensure a smooth new-hire experienceTraining & Performance ManagementMaintain the training management system and compliance trackingSupport employee development initiatives and required training programsAdminister and manage employee evaluations and performance processesBenefits & Leave AdministrationSupport benefits administrationManage and guide employees through FMLA and other leave programsAssist with employee questions related to coverage, eligibility, and complianceQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred7 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist roleStrong background in employee relations and investigationsExperience with policy writing, compliance, and documentationHRIS experience required (Dayforce experience a plus)Tech-savvy and comfortable working in imperfect or evolving systemsExperience with Forms Automation and HR tools preferredNon-profit experience is a plus, but not requiredPerformYard experience is preferredAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
