Instrument TesterLocation: Scripps Ranch, CA 92131Hours: Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:30pmPay: $20 /hr DOETemp-Hire*Background check and Drug Screen Required*Must be a US Citizen or US Person due to ITAR ComplianceA leading manufacturer of environmental and electronic measurement instruments is seeking an Instrument Tester to join their team. This individual will be responsible for performing routine tests of circuits, instruments and mechanical assemblies to ensure unit functions according to specifications or to determine the cause of failure.Job Duties:· Reads test schedule, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used.· Sets up devices using hand tools or automatic test methods.· Documents test results.· Maintain logs and records indicating if there is a malfunction.· May perform simple repairs and/or component removal or replacement.· Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:· High School Diploma or GED· 5 years of experience· Ability to perform basic math· Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100· Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/KaizenAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
