Senior Accountant
Location: Manchester, NH
Schedule: Full‑Time | Monday-Friday | On‑site
Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team in Manchester, NH. This is a full‑time, on‑site role supporting core accounting operations, month‑end close, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting leadership with reliable financial information.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post complex journal entries
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close activities
- Reconcile balance sheet and selected income statement accounts
- Maintain general ledger integrity in accordance with GAAP
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing supporting documentation
- Analyze variances and investigate discrepancies
- Support process improvements and accounting best practices
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance, operations, and leadership
- Assist with special projects and ad‑hoc reporting as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with month‑end close and account reconciliations
- Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, or similar)
- CPA or CPA‑track preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
