Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant for a full-time, on-site role located in Manchester, NH. The Senior Accountant will manage daily accounting operations, reconcile accounts, prepare financial statements, process payroll, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Other responsibilities include assisting with Human Resources, budgeting and forecasting, conducting financial analysis, and supporting annual audits. This role also includes supervising one accountant.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Experience with account reconciliation, journal entries, and maintaining general ledgers
- Knowledge of NetSuite and Excel skills
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Prior experience in publishing, media, or a related industry is an advantage
