Here's what I need from you:3 years of CNC Machinist experienceAerospace Industry experience HIGHLY preferred!The more you know:5 AxisSiemens ControlIntegrexWhat you will do:* Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations.* Read and interpret blueprints, plannings, sketches, and program descriptions for set-up and production of detail parts, assemblies and weldments.* Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.* Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.* Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work.* Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.* Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.* Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and Vernier calipers.* Set controls to regulate machining, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.* Set-up operations and load tools into machine tool changer.* Position and fasten work pieces.* Perform in process inspections, on all parts.* Interface with Quality Assurance personnel regarding inspection criteria and results.* Provide feedback to programming and supervision regarding cycle times, program accuracy, and suggest changes to improve productivity and part accuracy.* Maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.* Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with 6S standards.* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.* Conform to all requirements of the company's Quality System and any and all customer-invoked quality requirements (industry standards such as AS-9100, for example).Are you ready to start your new career with a company that you can grow with and call home?
