As a CNC Machinist, you will set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual machines to produce high-quality parts. You'll collaborate with engineers and team members to improve processes while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (experience with Ganesh Cyclone 32 GT CNC gang tool lathe is a plus)
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Perform test runs and adjust settings to ensure accuracy and quality
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine or process issues
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine maintenance
- Follow all safety standards and contribute to a safe work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in CNC machining preferred
- Proven CNC machining experience (Ganesh Cyclone 32 GT experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling, feeds/speeds, and cutting parameters
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with precision
- Skilled in using precision measurement instruments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Team-oriented with effective communication skills
Physical & Work Environment:
- Standing for long periods on hard surfaces
- Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Hands-on work with tools, parts, and machinery
- Exposure to industrial materials such as oil, grease, and chemicals
