Job Title: Business Development Representative - Food & BeverageLocation: ArtesiaDepartment: Sales / Business DevelopmentReports To: OwnerPosition OverviewThe Business Development Representative (BDR) will play a key role in driving growth within the Food & Beverage sector by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting the sales pipeline. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with a passion for the food and beverage industry and a strong ability to communicate value propositions to prospective clients.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & ProspectingIdentify and research potential clients within the food and beverage industry.Utilize CRM tools and market intelligence to build and maintain a robust pipeline.Client EngagementInitiate contact with prospects via calls, emails, and networking events.Qualify leads and schedule meetings for senior sales executives.Market AnalysisMonitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.Provide insights to support strategic planning and product positioning.CollaborationWork closely with marketing and sales teams to align outreach strategies.Assist in developing proposals and presentations for prospective clients.Performance TrackingMaintain accurate records of interactions and progress in CRM systems.Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads and conversions.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.Knowledge of the food and beverage industry and its supply chain.Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Preferred SkillsExperience in B2B sales within food and beverage or hospitality sectors.Familiarity with trade shows, industry events, and networking best practices.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data.What We OfferCompetitive salary and performance-based incentives.Opportunities for career growth and professional development.Collaborative and innovative work environment.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
