Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and HVAC components in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Read and interpret construction plans and schematics to ensure accurate installation of plumbing systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and other mechanical devices safely and efficiently
- Conduct pipe installation tasks involving heavy lifting, pipe threading, carpentry skills, and remodeling activities as needed
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings
- Assist with troubleshooting complex plumbing issues using schematic diagrams and technical knowledge of mechanical systems
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and communicate effectively with team members and clients
Skills
- Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in residential or commercial environments
- Strong knowledge of plumbing building codes, local regulations, and safety standards
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and mechanical diagrams confidently
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and other construction tools
- Experience working with gas piping systems and HVAC components is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills to address client needs professionally and courteously
- Mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), remodeling projects, handyman tasks, and general construction site experience
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety regulations at all times
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is a plus for site travel requirements
- Strong field service orientation with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently on-site
