Travel Registered Nurse (RN) providing acute care nursing, patient monitoring, and clinical interventions in a medical nursing unit.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process in acute care and medical-surgical settings
- Perform head-to-toe assessments, reassessments, and clinical evaluations
- Administer medications, IV therapy, IV drips, and transfusion therapy
- Manage cardiac monitoring, chest tubes, sedation, and pain management
- Provide pre- and post-procedure care including cardiac cath recovery
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families, supervise staff, and support care planning
- Registered Nurse (RN), Acute Care RN, Medical-Surgical RN
- Cardiac Monitoring, IV Therapy, IV Drips, Central Line Access
- Medication Administration, Sedation, Pain Management
- Transfusion Therapy, TPN/PPN, Chest Tube Care

- Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Active RN License required
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, EKG certifications required
- Minimum 2 years experience required (5 years preferred)
- Travel nursing experience required
