Position Title: Data Services - Technical Coordinator Location: Remote (On-site 6 days per month; typically Tuesdays–Thursdays of weeks 2 and 4) Engagement Type: Contract Work Mode: Hybrid (San Mateo, CA) Duration: Approximately 6 months (Estimated start: January 5, 2026) Role Overview: Provide coordination support to the Health Data Services team by organizing meetings, tracking work, documenting findings, and ensuring the Director of Health Data Services and staff are informed of project status and decisions. Develop processes, trackers, and reporting tools to scale team operations.Key Responsibilities:Arrange meetings, document outcomes, and track action items.Create work structures, policies, procedures, forms, and work trackers.Manage staff deliverables and staff training activities.Manage vendor relationships and coordinate deliverables with technical staff.Required Skills & Experience:Minimum 2 years of project coordinator experience.Advanced Excel skills.Experience with MS Project or Smartsheet project management software.Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.Self-driven, able to produce from minimal direction, and proficient in English.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.Preferred Skills:Experience in healthcare or government settings.Experience with County health care.Familiarity with PMI/PMP terminology.Experience working with data engineers.Additional Details: On-site requirement of approximately 6 days per month (usually Tuesdays–Thursdays of weeks 2 and 4).
