SUMMARY:
The function of this Food Safety Quality Assurance clerk includes a variety of clerical tasks: entering lab testing results into a database; generating test reports; ordering supplies in COUPA and SAP; distributing mail to the appropriate departments; answering phone calls and taking messages; assisting with special projects; maintaining records retention and paperwork destruction logs as it pertains to Tyson policy; organizing and fulfilling daily paperwork from both shifts; keeping up on safety policies and training; working with the team to meet customer deadlines and respond to customer requests.
Requirements
Days/Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm; some Saturday’s may be required.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 1 plus years of office experience required; FSQA experience a plus
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including generating simple spreadsheets; Microsoft Office; Sessions, SAP preferred.
Communication Skills: Must possess excellent written and verbal communication.
Special Skills: Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge of multiple business units, and accounting requirements
