Welder-Fabricator

Job Overview:

Fabricate and weld quality stainless steel equipment using Tig and Mig welding process.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Layout, cut, fabricate, weld, and finish projects within time allowed per work order
• Be able to use equipment in a safe manner
• Keep work area and shop clean daily
• Report all material used to the Inventory Specialist
• Be able to work alone as well as with others
• Assist with install of equipment at customer job sites when needed
• Communicates all production related items or problems to shop foreman/production manager
• All other duties assigned

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent desired
• Be proficient in welding stainless steel using Tig and Mig
• Can read blueprints
• Know how to use a tape measure, have common knowledge of fractions, and decimals
• Have knowledge of types of material
• Able to lift 75 pounds
• Must be reliable with a strong work ethic
• Willing to work 40 hours a week with some weekends
• Ability to work with basic manufacturing software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $32.28 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• MIG welding: 3 years (Preferred)
