We are currently seeking: Low Voltage Technician

We’re seeking a motivated Entry-Level Low Voltage Technician to join our structured cabling and security installation team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a hands-on career in the low-voltage field, including data, communications, and security systems. You’ll work closely with experienced technicians on commercial and residential job sites to install and support low-voltage infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Pull, route, and secure Cat6/6A and fiber optic cables.
• Install devices such as jacks, faceplates, patch panels, cameras, and network hardware.
• Assist with mounting equipment racks, conduits, and cable supports.
• Label and document cable runs according to site standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment under supervision.
• Assist senior technicians with terminations, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the crew leader or project manager.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Dependable and punctual with good communication skills.
• Prior experience in construction, electrical, or low-voltage work is a plus (but not required).

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred (Not Required)

• OSHA 10 certification
• Basic understanding of cabling standards and color codes
• BICSI Installer I Certification or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor).
