What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Turn2Partners?
Responsibilities
- Maintain job cost records and track project budgets vs. actuals
- Prepare progress billings (AIA G702/G703) and manage retainage
- Process AP/AR, including subcontractor invoices, lien waivers, and certificates of insurance
- Prepare WIP schedules and assist with percentage-of-completion revenue recognition
- Perform account reconciliations and support month-end close
- Assist with audits, sales/use tax, and other compliance filings
- Partner with project managers on cost reporting and change orders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in construction
- Understanding of job costing, WIP, and percentage-of-completion accounting
- Experience with construction accounting software (Sage 300 CRE, Viewpoint Vista, Foundation, or similar)
- Strong Excel skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with field and project teams
Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
