Position Summary: The Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Energy Compliance Supervisor oversees the operation, maintenance, and performance of the district’s building automation systems and supports energy management efforts across district facilities. This role is responsible for monitoring system performance, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and supporting energy efficiency initiatives to ensure district facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable standards. The position supervises assigned staff and coordinates with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to support BAS operations and system improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HVAC, Energy Management, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred
- (Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered)
- At least five (5) years of experience working with building automation systems, HVAC controls, or energy management systems
- Experience in commercial, institutional, or educational facilities preferred
- Supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license required
- Industry certifications (e.g., Certified Energy Manager, HVAC certifications, BAS controls
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and building automation technologies
- Familiarity with BAS platforms and system integration (e.g., BACnet or similar protocols)
- Understanding of energy efficiency principles and building performance
- Ability to troubleshoot BAS and related system issues
- Ability to analyze system data and identify performance trends
- Knowledge of building systems networking and integration
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across teams
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Ability to adapt to evolving systems and technologies
