Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package outbound shipments with attention to accuracy and proper labeling.
- Verify the contents and destination of packages and inspect for damages.
- Load/unload materials and place them in proper storage areas using handling equipment.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and segregation.
- Update shipping logs and maintain packaging supply inventory.
- Use scanners, computers, and software (Excel, Word, Outlook) to track orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the shipping and receiving areas.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet shipping schedules and address logistics issues.
- Perform other warehouse tasks and support general operations as assigned.
- 6 to 12 months of experience in warehouse or shipping operations.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Comfortable lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs.
- Capable of standing and walking on concrete floors for extended periods.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and carrier platforms (UPS, FedEx, DHL).
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Familiarity with material handling equipment and inventory software.
- Must wear steel-toe shoes (not provided by employer).
- Exposure to barcode scanning and order fulfillment systems.
- Experience in high-volume warehouse or logistics environments.
- Basic understanding of inventory control best practices.
