Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and handling ingredients when needed
- Support catering events or banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with cleanup efforts
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety standards are met at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items for food service operations
- Uphold cleanliness standards by regularly cleaning work areas, floors, sinks, and storage spaces
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, catering, or food service environment is preferred but not required—training will be provided
- Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices is advantageous
- Experience with bussing tables or assisting in food preparation can be beneficial
- Prior kitchen or culinary experience helps in understanding the flow of restaurant operations but is not mandatory
