Duties

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper cleaning procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables, organizing supplies, and supporting catering or banquet setups when needed.
• Support the kitchen team by handling food handling responsibilities safely and following sanitation standards.
• Keep the work area organized and stocked with clean dishes and utensils for smooth service flow.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items for food service.
• Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and food handling regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting.
• Familiarity with food handling safety practices; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support various kitchen functions such as bussing or light food prep.
