Duties
- Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm, making them feel instantly welcome
- Manage reservation bookings and waitlists efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
- Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing accurate information about menu options and wait times
- Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests to enhance their dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service during busy hours
Qualifications
- Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle guest relations gracefully
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in hospitality, serving, or hotel guest services is advantageous
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills
