Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >70 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: 1st time travelers welcome with 2 years of cardiac/tele experience required. Skills include MS/Tele, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, post MI, pre/post cardiac surgery, IV insulin protocols, feeding tube care and management, renal failure, pre/post hemodialysis management, IV therapy, chest tubes, nasal cannulas, and wound care.
Preferred Skills/Experience: IMC experience preferred.
Required Credentials: Travelers must shave for a mask to seal for fit testing. CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided, and SSM will not allow travelers to use their own PAPRs or CAPRs at its facilities; there are no exceptions. Failure to shave for fit testing will result in a cancellation.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Patient population includes post-CABG, valve repair, thoracotomy, respiratory failure (trach management), and vascular procedures.
Shift & Scheduling: No call requirement. Every other weekend required. May need to participate in holiday coverage.
Floating Requirements: Floating required to all care areas to care for MS, MS/Tele, and Tele patients as needed. Floating may occur occasionally if census drops.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
