Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - 2 years of Neuro MS/T experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Special Requests: - You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric inpatient neuro patient population. - Cares for medical and surgical neuro patients, including multiple sclerosis, ALS, Guillain-Barre syndrome, epilepsy, stroke, trauma or orthopedic patients with multiple injuries/diagnoses, and spinal fractures requiring orthotics. - Post-surgical cases may include spine surgeries, brain tumors, craniotomy, and ophthalmology cases. - Interdisciplinary team includes nurses, nursing assistants, therapists, coordinated care, advanced practice providers, and medical teams.
Shift & Scheduling: - Monday-Friday schedule. Weekend rotation. Holidays as needed.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
