Our rapidly growing financial services client near Pewaukee is seeking a Transactions Specialist to join the team on a temp to hire basis immediately. This role supports day-to-day financial and transaction operations for client accounts, with a strong focus on accuracy, reconciliations, and cash movement. The ideal candidate comes from a banking or financial services environment and is comfortable working with high-volume transactions, controls, and time-sensitive processing. Role is 100% on-site with hours of 8am to 5pm or 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday. Please apply for immediate consideration.
Responsibilities:
- Process daily financial transactions including cash postings, client activity, and account-level entries.
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliations (bank accounts, client accounts, book-to-cash).
- Monitor and research transaction discrepancies, resolving breaks in a timely manner.
- Support cash movement, payments, and settlement activities.
- Maintain strict adherence to internal controls, policies, and compliance standards.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and data integrity.
- Assist with month-end close support related to operational accounts.
- Document procedures and support process improvements within financial operations.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in banking or financial services operations required.
- Strong understanding of transaction flows and reconciliations.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfort working in deadline-driven, process-oriented environment.
