Our client is an organization in the Beloit area looking for a Senior Accountant. This company is looking for someone with 6 years of accounting experience with strong exposure with cost analysis.
The salary range for this position is $85-$100k.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage general ledger activities including journal entries, account reconciliation, and month-end close activities.
- Prepare, analyze and present financial statements.
- Review and analyze standard cost updates and manufacturing variances.
- Support capital expenditure and fixed asset management.
- Prepare annual tax package.
- Prepare and analyze gross margin and product line profitability reports.
- Provide support and training to junior accountants.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
The Senior Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field
- 6 years of accounting experience
- 3 years of cost experience.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
