- Manage accounting activities across both the revenue and expense sides of the organization.
- Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Assist with the annual budgeting process and provide financial information to support planning.
- Prepare required federal and state nonprofit filings, including Form 990 and Wisconsin nonprofit filings.
- Support accounting operations and financial reporting using Microsoft Great Plains and Excel.
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally within a healthcare system; candidates with relevant dental or other industry experience may also be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, financial statements, and exposure to healthcare cost reports and/or contractual accounting is preferred.
