The firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Community Association Paralegal to join a growing team supporting sophisticated HOA condominium and cooperative association matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who values substantive legal work client relations and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct document preparation and management related to community association matters including demand letters annual and special meeting notice packages and pre-suit mediation demand letters
- Draft board resolutions certificates of amendment governing document amendments recall packages and special assessment packages with accuracy and efficiency
- Support attorneys in association matters by preparing and recording documents via Simplifile ordering title searches and governing documents through ATIDS and maintaining accuracy of condominium and HOA governing documents
- Manage MRTA log follow-ups notice to preserve documents revitalization packages and client correspondence while organizing files and workflow efficiently
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field required (Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or related field preferred)
- 3 years of paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department environment (community association experience preferred)
- Strong organizational communication and attention to detail skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to manage workflow efficiently with excellent attention to detail
