VP Finance & Accounting
Location: Santa Ana, CA (Onsite)
Compensation: $175,000 – $225,000 base bonus
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are partnering with a well-established and growing distribution company seeking a VP Finance & Accounting to lead and scale its finance function.
This is a high-impact leadership role working directly with the CFO to build structure, improve processes, and drive financial strategy across a multi-location operation.
The environment is currently evolving, creating a strong opportunity for a hands-on leader to implement systems, improve efficiency, and build a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting and finance operations including GL, close, and financial reporting
- Oversee FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Drive process improvements, automation, and system implementation (ERP)
- Establish and strengthen internal controls and segregation of duties
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning and business decisions
- Manage external audit process and relationships with advisors
- Build and develop the accounting and finance team
Qualifications
- 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance leadership
- Strong background across both Accounting and FP&A
- Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or inventory-driven environments
- Proven track record of process improvement and system implementation
- Ability to operate in a hands-on, build environment
- CPA or MBA is a plus
