Trueline's client, a growing commercial services provider specializing in mechanical and water-based systems, is seeking a Service Division Manager to lead their team based in Jacksonville, NC with regional oversight across NC, SC, and VA. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of a service and parts division, offering the opportunity to drive strategy, scale operations, and directly impact revenue growth.
What You'll Do as the Service Division Manager:
- Lead and manage daily operations across the service and parts division, including technicians and support staff
- Build and execute a strategic plan to grow revenue, improve efficiency, and expand market presence
- Oversee scheduling, field operations, and service delivery across multiple states
- Drive aftermarket service sales, parts distribution, and key client relationships
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for upselling repairs, upgrades, and system improvements
- Partner with construction and project teams to ensure alignment across business units
- Establish and refine processes for operations, reporting, and performance tracking
- Hire, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing service team
- Maintain strong customer satisfaction and service standards
Must-Haves as the Service Division Manager:
- 5 years of leadership experience in a service-based or field operations environment
- Proven experience managing or supporting a service division or field service team
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Mechanical aptitude, ideally in plumbing, HVAC, or related systems
- Experience with revenue responsibility, service sales, or P and L ownership
