Trueline's client, a global manufacturer specializing in custom automation solutions used across a wide range of industries, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team on-site. This is a strong opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to build hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment while gaining exposure to ERP systems and project-based financial operations.
What You'll Do as the Financial Accountant:
- Support the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries for accruals, prepaids, and cash activity
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial data within the company's ERP system
- Assist with inventory and work-in-process tracking and reconciliations
- Process payroll and related reporting
- Partner with project managers to support project setup and financial tracking
- Contribute to weekly cash forecasting activities
- Assist with audit preparation and financial reporting requirements
- Provide support across accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
- Participate in process improvements and system enhancements
- Support ad hoc accounting and finance initiatives
Must-Haves as the Financial Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience processing payroll
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables
- Experience working with an ERP system
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Haves as the Financial Accountant:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Exposure to inventory or work-in-process accounting
- Familiarity with ADP payroll systems
- Experience with CloudSuite Industrial or similar ERP platforms
