Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of traditional and modern sushi preparation techniques, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare high-quality sushi dishes, including rolls, nigiri, and sashimi, following proper techniques and presentation standards.
Maintain freshness, portion control, and food safety standards.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the sushi station at all times.
Manage inventory of ingredients and communicate supply needs to management.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations during service.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests (if applicable).
Adhere to all health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role.
Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi-grade fish handling.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Food Handler’s Certification preferred.
