Duties
- Prepare a variety of sushi dishes including rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and specialty items with meticulous attention to detail

- Ensure the freshness and quality of all ingredients by proper storage and handling practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service during busy hours
- Use knife skills expertly to slice fish, vegetables, and other ingredients with precision and consistency
- Contribute to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment sanitation and organization
Experience
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques specific to sushi making, including fish handling and knife skills
- Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food safety protocols
