What you’ll do
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to uphold hotel cleanliness standards
- Manage floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or services
- Conduct inspections of rooms before guests check-in to ensure quality assurance
- Maintain janitorial duties in common areas such as lobbies, restrooms, and dining spaces
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects as needed to support overall hotel operations
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and floor care practices
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
