Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes for all guests.
- Lead and motivate front desk staff to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of guest relations.
- Manage reservations, handle inquiries, and resolve any guest issues with professionalism and care.
- Conduct night audits to ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain compliance with hotel policies.
- Develop training programs for new staff on hospitality management practices and phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experiences and address any special requests or concerns.
- Maintain multi-line phone systems efficiently, ensuring all calls are answered promptly and courteously.
- Monitor hotel occupancy rates and adjust staffing levels accordingly to meet guest needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with night audit procedures and financial reporting in a hotel setting.
- Proficient in using front desk software and multi-line phone systems.
- Ability to foster positive relationships with guests and staff alike, enhancing overall guest satisfaction.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Previous experience in resort settings is highly desirable.
