What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lecturer position at Troy University and Careers?
The primary responsibility of the ASN Faculty member is teaching undergraduate nursing didactic and/or clinical courses, advising ASN students, maintaining involvement in University, College, School, ASN Program, and professional service, and contributing to the nursing body of knowledge through personal and collaborative service.
In Class Teaching Percentage Online Teaching Percentage Minimum Qualifications
1. An earned graduate degree in nursing;
2. An active, unencumbered Alabama registered nurse license, or a multistate registered nurse license issued by a party state;
3. Academic and experiential qualifications to teach in the area assigned;
4. A minimum of at least three years of employment as a registered nurse.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Doctoral degree in nursing or related field;
2. National certification;
3. Teaching experience in nursing education;
4. Simulation experience.
