The Lecturer/Assistant/Associate Professor position in Tampa is a tenure-track position in the Department of Counseling, Rehabilitation, and Interpreter Training. The position is responsible for teaching graduate courses in clinical mental health counseling and CORE counseling courses within the specific area of expertise; pursuit of scholarship and research; service on committees at all levels, and involvement in service to the community. This position also includes administrative responsibilities such as advising graduate students, supervising Practicum and Internship students, scheduling counseling courses, recruiting students for the program, proctoring and grading comprehensive examinations, attending faculty meetings, and attending required region meetings for faculty.
In Class Teaching Percentage Online Teaching Percentage Minimum Qualifications
1. Earned doctorate degree in counselor education from an accredited institution, with preference given to graduates of a CACREP program
2. Licensed as a professional counselor
3. Demonstrated ability to conduct a successful program of scholarship and publication
