Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday, potential Saturday

3rd Shift Production Lead (10 PM – 6:30 AM) – Drive Success During the Night Shift!

Join our team as a 3rd Shift Production Lead and play a pivotal role in ensuring our manufacturing operations run seamlessly through the night. What You’ll Do:

• Lead and support the night shift production team to meet or exceed KPI goals, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the Production Supervisor to maintain optimal staffing levels, skills, and coverage.
• Develop team members through comprehensive training on HACCP, GMPs, Safety, Quality, and other SOPs.
• Enforce and promote safety programs, fostering a high safety awareness and compliance, including lock-out/tag-out procedures and PPE protocols.
• Assist in assessing and improving Standard Operating Procedures, identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
• Monitor equipment performance—including freezers, packaging machinery, and more—to guarantee optimal operation; coordinate repairs as needed.
• Manage production documentation, record-keeping, and paperwork accurately, supporting smooth communication and traceability.
• Support operational readiness by ensuring all production lines are properly staged and prepared for current and upcoming runs.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or higher education.
• 2-4 years of supervisory experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to analyze systems and adapt to changing conditions.
• Proficiency in mathematical problem-solving.
• Ability to train and instruct colleagues effectively.
• Willingness to work extra hours or shifts as needed to meet production demands.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience with HACCP, GMPs, and safety protocols in a food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance or troubleshooting.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or higher.
• Food manufacturing experience, especially in a supervisory or lead role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams during night shifts.

• Ability and willingness to work the 10 PM to 6:30 AM shift.
