Salary Range: 70k-75k DOE
Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday and Weekends as needed.

We’re looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our production lines during the second shift in Antoich, IL. What You’ll Do:

• Lead and supervise production line staff across multiple departments, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Develop daily staffing plans to ensure optimal coverage and workflow efficiency.
• Conduct routine visual inspections to verify product quality, proper labeling, and packaging in line with company standards.
• Collaborate seamlessly with Maintenance, Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse, and other departments to meet production goals and resolve challenges swiftly.
• Track and analyze production metrics, reporting trends and insights to management for ongoing process enhancements.
• Enforce health and safety protocols and ensure strict compliance with GMP, hygiene standards, and company policies.
• Manage performance through training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions when necessary, in accordance with labor regulations.

Required Skills:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish.
• Strong leadership and supervisory experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate effectively, and thrive under pressure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in aluminum, plastic packaging, food, or consumer products manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMP, quality assurance, and hygiene practices specific to food manufacturing.
• Additional certifications in safety or manufacturing best practices are a plus.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or supervisory certifications are advantageous.
• 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in a high-speed, high-volume production setting.

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods, often most of the workday.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Physical capacity to perform tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching overhead.
• Sufficient visual acuity for inspecting products and reading labels.
• May be exposed to loud noises, temperature variations, and manufacturing odors; PPE will be provided.
