Key Responsibilities
Operations & Execution
- Actively manage daily supply chain operations including procurement transactions, vendor scheduling, order tracking, customer communication, and quality oversight.
- Monitor shipment progress, proactively identify delays, and maintain visibility on expedited shipments—including after-hours and weekend tracking as needed.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for customer service issues, shipment delays, and damaged goods, resolving issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Oversee quality management processes to ensure service and product standards are consistently met.
Supply Chain Optimization
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, service levels, and cost optimization.
- Identify process gaps, inventory risks, and operational bottlenecks; implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Leverage SAP and operational data to support informed decision-making.
Leadership & People Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3 direct reports with a strong emphasis on career growth, accountability, and performance improvement.
- Foster a resilient, collaborative, and customer-focused team culture.
- Provide hands-on support during peak workload periods or escalated operational challenges.
Global Collaboration
- Communicate effectively across multiple time zones with internal stakeholders and international leadership.
- Support the Apex location’s role as a Center of Excellence (COE) within a global supply chain network.
Travel
- Occasional travel (approximately 5–10%) to 3PL and client sites in locations such as Texas, South Carolina, and Missouri for cycle counts, inventory validation, and operational reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in hands-on supply chain, logistics, or operations leadership.
- SAP experience is required.
- Strong background in procurement, vendor coordination, customer service, and quality management.
- Demonstrated success in coaching and developing employees, not just managing tasks.

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in anticipating risks and resolving issues.
- Comfortable working within a global business environment.
