What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- At least one year of progressive experience in financial accounting or related roles
- An associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel
- Demonstrated ability to handle calculations, data reconciliation, and financial analysis
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Clear and professional communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external contacts
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Additional Skills That Would Make You Shine:
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar accounting systems
- Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes
- Experience supporting account reconciliations, invoice processing, and financial reporting
- Familiarity with bank and credit card reconciliations
- Understanding of manual and electronic invoicing methods, including EDI systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Two-year degree in accounting or related field
- One or more years of practical experience in financial accounting tasks
- Exposure to audit processes and month-end closing procedures
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work either full-time or part-time, depending on your availability and preference
- Willingness to support contract-to-hire or direct hire arrangements for the right candidate
